An Accounting firm with power and presence is looking for a Tax Administrator to join their team in Cape Town. In addition to a knowledge of tax, the position involves extensive liaison with clients, the South African Revenue Service and management. You will be trained extensively on the day to day functions of dealing with taxation affairs, including income tax, vat, paye, customs. SARS imposes deadlines which have to be met at certain times of the year, so a nine to five mentality is not appropriate. Candidates should have an Honours Degree with Taxation as a subject. Former experience would be an advantage.
