TAX MANAGER
A tax manager position for a small to medium sized accounting practice in the upper highway area has become available. Applicants are to have a sound knowledge of Taxation as well as a formal qualification in taxation. In addition to this applicants must be able to demonstrate organisational skills, strong interpersonal relationship skills and efficient management ability.

Basic Job Description:

Day to day management of the tax department
2. Address client requests for assistance on a timely basis and consult with a partner where required
3. Regularly contribute to and/or assists in leading internal training sessions within department.
4. Interaction with regulatory bodies such as SARS.
5. Draft opinions and letters to SARS
6. Be responsible for the submission of all statutory returns accordingly to SARS deadlines
7. Manage junior staff members, including their performance, coaching and development

Other Details:
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 8.00 to 4.30pm (2 x 15mins tea breaks and 30mins lunch).
Friday 8.00 to 4.00pm (30mins lunch break)

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications but is highly negotiable.
