Required qualifications
? Matric / Grade 12 as a minimum
? Relevant BCom degree / BTech finance qualification
? H.Dip Tax or studying towards (advantageous)
? Knowledge on using Notepad++, SQL developer (advantageous)
? Connect Direct/ SARS HTTP system (Preferred)
? knowledge of and experience with E-filling and Easy-file essential
? Advanced level of MS Word, Excel, Outlook

Required experience:
? 2 – 3 years related experience in a tax administration role in a Manco environment is essential
? A registered Tax Practitioner (Preferred)
? Experience in dealing with SARS (PAYE, DWT, IT3, IT88/A88, INS)
? Knowledge of e-filing and Easy-file are essential.
? Experience dealing with databases
? Own transport essential

Duties and responsibilities:
Duties: Tax Admin
? PAYE (EMP201 and EMP501), DWT(DTR02) submissions and payments to SARS.
? DWT and IWT monthly reconciliations and annual submissions.
? PAYE processing on withdrawal/surrender, partial withdrawals and monthly annuity payments on living annuities.
? CGT reconciliations and payments to Life company.
? PAYE annual submissions (EMP501).
? Recovering withholding tax paid on behalf of investors in positions of an exemption certificate
? Application of income tax numbers
? IT88 Directive processing and payments to SARS
? ITA88 payments and reconciliations
? Dealing with client queries regarding Tax and Income distributions
? Annual Tax Submissions (IT12, IT14, IT3, INS and EMP501)

Other duties:
? Register Funds with SARS LBC and register them on e-filling.
? Ensure that the system is in line with SARS latest Business Specific Requirement
? Distribution checking, re-investments and distribution payaways
? Respond to SARS queries
? Assist with the CIS audit where applicable
