Our client, a market leader in the manufacturing industry, has a very exciting position available for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant with a tax qualification. We are looking for a vibrant, go-getter who wants to boost their career. An independent, service orientated individual with confidence and a strong emotional quotient is the ideal personality type for this busy and top achieving department.
Qualification:
Recently qualified CA(SA) with post graduate tax qualification preferable OR
CA(SA) with relevant tax consulting experience.

Skills & Experience:
Knowledge, understanding & application of the Income Tax Act & VAT Act.
Knowledge & understanding of IFRS.
Knowledge & understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley processes.
Must be computer literate (MS Excel & ERP systems exposure preferably SAP).

Job Description:

Detailed tax computation preparation
Income Tax & VAT cash flow forecast with variance analysis preparation
Monthly Group VAT 201 return for submission to SARS preparation
Preparation of AFS disclosure in terms of IAS 12.
Analyse expenditure and provisions for correct tax treatment.
SARS queries, drafting of ruling requests, submission of returns
Assist with month-end and year-end SAP GL close.
Assist with transfer pricing research for update of policy document.
Liaise with internal and external auditors in resolving queries.
