Position Description Overview
This position will be dedicated to the TCH project, responsible for Software Support.
Roles and Responsibilities
Monitoring and fixing of TCH transaction transmission and data problems
Ensure the “Red” list is clear for all Plaza’s
Reduce departmental and company overheads and/or expenses;
Ensure all other rejections are followed-up with ETC/TCH and the Operator;
Ensure Risk on the TCH is limited to a minimum;
Ensuring that there are no penalties awarded due to TCH Software Support Issues;
Delivering client acceptable Software Support on time and within budget;
Delivery to provided deadlines;
Amount and accuracy of work;
Ensuring delivery of effective Software Support within the scales agreed with client on Software;
Provide a professional and timely support service to Clients;
Communication towards client's and improving client relations;
Maintenance and use of the Hard Cat Helpdesk system
Adherence to Policies & Procedures;
Display of Initiative (also in respect of steps taken to meet deadlines/perform task as expected);
Implement system to ensure preventative software maintenance.


Qualifications and Education Requirements
Grade 12; and
Experience in Informix, Unix, SQL, Linux (an advantage)
Extensive knowledge of the Toll Industry Operational, Technical and usage of the our Software
Knowledge 3rd party Software and Hardware,
Proven Linux, Unix, Informix, MySQL experience
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft and Windows;

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
