A leading Travel Company in Cape Town is looking for a Senior Candidate to fill the role of Reservations Supervisor and Trainer. Minimum 5-8 years in a similar senior role are required.

The purpose of this role is to lead the reservations team and to maximise and deliver sales, which involves coordinating, booking and selling of tailor-made FIT, tours, groups, incentives and packages, whilst ensuring that a high-quality service is maintained.

The position entails setting achievable targets, and monitoring, motivating, training and managing the team of consultants, managing supplier reservations and relationships, and providing proactive feedback and reports to management.

Requirements:
• Expert knowledge of South, Southern and East Africa
• Well-travelled throughout Africa
• Excellent people manager
• Working knowledge of logistics and safari areas
• Keen interest in travel throughout Africa
• Proven reservations management track record
• Proven staff management experience
• Proven ability to increase enquiry conversion
• Proven ability to increase turnover / profit margin

• Tourism/Hospitality or administrative studies
