An exciting Opportunity exists for A production Team Leader in the Automotive Industry (P.E). Applicants must have a Matric with an Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Diploma, Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods, Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing industry, with structural part welding or press experience. Capacity for teamwork, initiative and a sense of order, Leadership skills: ability to train, mentor and coach, Computer Literacy (MS Excel, SAP advantageous) and Willing to work rotating shifts and flexible hours.

The successful Applicant will will be expected to: Ensure safety and productivity of employees on shift, Organise, monitor and control Production Line outputs to target on designated shift, Monitor OEE and scrap performance and action for improvements, Ensure quality standards are complied with, Conduct Employee Performance Reviews with the aim of developing employees to their full potential, Acts as liaison with other departments with respect to technical and quality issues and prepares written reports concerning assigned aspect of work, Organise Shift schedules and workstation assignments.
