KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Producing High Quality Product
• Perform quality inspections/tests as set out by company procedures, specifications, etc.
• Ensure compliance to process conditions as set out by machine specifications

• Control Of Non-Conforming Product
• Enforce non-conformance procedure
• Place materials “on hold” which do not comply with specifications
• Accurately record information regarding “on hold” products
• Report non-conforming products to Management
• Perform corrective actions when quality defects occur to minimize defective product produced

• Preventing Product Contamination
• Ensure compliance to hygiene standards
• Ensure compliance to company policies regarding foreign bodies (glass and sharps)
• Report all incidents of possible product contamination to Management immediately

• Production Targets
• Ensure machines are running according to production plan
• Manage human resources according to priorities
• Operate machines when staff shortages occur
• Report production problems within 1 hour of occurrence to Management
• Minimise waste/scrap produced
• Minimise down time
• Meet OEE Targets

• SAFETY
• Ensure all employees are properly trained before operating machines
• Ensure wearing of PPE
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures
• Report any faulty equipment immediately to Management
• Report all accidents/incidents/near misses immediately
• Ensure clean and neat working environment inside plant
• Adhere to HACCP procedures Will be required to work independent from time to time in difficult conditions.
• Required to operate a forklift from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Practical Hygiene
• Minimum 1 year Experience in a Team Leader position.
• Must be able to communicate English
• Time Management & Attention to detail
• Must be willing to work overtime
