Purpose of the job
To develop and maintain the high-level design plan for the overall logical and technical IT architecture. The management of the technical support environment to ensure services are delivered to clients as per the SLA.

Key Responsibility Areas
Develop, implement and manage the Converged Communication services management architecture environment in order to ensure technical performance, availability and stability; Ensure sustainability in service delivery for Converged Communication provisioning technology architecture; Provide inputs in the Converged Communication Architecture governance with regards to the implementation of Converged Communication solutions; Develop and Implement the Architecture Organisation to deliver on the business goals of the organization and ensure sustainability in service delivery from technology architecture and design perspective.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum: Diploma/Degree in IT related field (Computer Science, Information Technology/Engineering, B Com etc.) OR CCNP with 7-8 years’ experience in the provision of ICT solutions, specifically within Technical Architecture environment; CCNP. Experience: 7-8 years’ experience in the provision of ICT solutions, specifically within Technical Architecture environment.

Technical Competencies Description
Knowledge of: ICT environment; Government IT; Politico-Legal environment; Business processes; Financial modelling; Strategy development; GWEA. Skills: Infrastructure Administration and management; Quality Assurance and Management; Business knowledge; and IT Models and frameworks.

Other Special Requirements
The incumbent will be required to consult and interact with relevant Government Officials, standards generating bodies, accreditation and certification bodies.
