Our client, a leader in the defense industry, is looking for a dynamic individual to take up the role of TECHNICAL AUTHOR to become a part of their team!!!

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
The main aim of the job is to produce technically accurate and totally encompassing information to facilitate the operation, maintenance and overhaul of military aircrafts and related tools and equipment.

? Produce technical manuals to support the operation and maintenance of military aircraft.
? Gather information and produce technical documentation “Information Leaflets” to support military aircraft during the evaluation period of a modification that has been embodied on a trial installation basis.
? Identify and update the suite of technical manuals of a particular military aircraft to reflect a modification that has been accepted and approved via the Engineering Change Procedure (ECP) process.
? Determine the illustrations and graphics required to clearly clarify the technical message the Technical Author wants to communicate.
? Take ownership of the total technical author function and support activities of illustrators – Desk Top Publishers.

REQUIREMENTS
? Aircraft trade
? Experience as an Aircraft Technician
? Excellent English Communication Skills – verbal & written
? Advanced MS Office knowledge
