Technical / AV sales representative required for a fast growing upmarket company based in Pretoria East.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers and other trade factors.
• Establish customers' needs and explain and demonstrate products to them, which involve providing technical descriptions of products and how it can be used.
• Arrange a schedule of visits to major potential buyers by contacting key people and making appointments.
• Establishes feasibility and best solutions for customer in collaboration with the Technical Manager re planning, lay-out, device / equipment overview and cost structures.
• Primary responsibility is to increase sales of products sold, by means of extraordinary customer service, product demonstrations, and sales management.
• Reaching monthly Sales Targets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1. Candidate aged between 19-25 with Min 2 year’s external sales experience with technical understanding. – (training will also be provided)
2. Proven experience in the areas of audio-visual and electronic solutions, including a substantial understanding of installation thereof.
3. Self-starter with entrepreneurial work ethic
4. Friendly and confident manner with a pleasant personality, and able to work without direct supervision.
5. Prospecting Skills, Negotiation and Closing ability, able to clearly present product and service information Product Knowledge and Presentation skills.
6. Excellent customer relationship skills.
7. Ability to build and manage sales pipeline with new account discovery through sales calls
8. Suitable candidate must have reliable transport and a valid driver’s license.
