A new position is available for a Business Analyst with a top company in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:
• Work with business heads to analyse current work processes, systems, organisational function, and structures using interviews, observation, data, and statistical analysis studies and techniques to determine where and how to generate measurable benefits and improved efficiencies
• Communicate effectively with through meetings with business process owners, vendors, development team, etc. to understand the “as is” key business processes, people involved, line of business systems.
• Perform detail or high level business\system analysis, distinguish between system and a business rule and can articulate the requirements accurately in formal documentation
• Assist in identifying risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions and provide insight to possible resolution of complex issues\problems.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in IT Software Development
• Appropriate Business Analysis qualification an advantage
• 3 - 5 years’ Business Analyst experience
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Process mapping
• General Business acumen
