Technical Digital Project Manager

Location: Woodmead, JHB
Salary: R30k per month negotiable

About the Role:
We are seeking an in-house technical project manager with agency experience to manage local & international outsourced development teams for back-end website and related solutions. This self-motivated individual must be able to skilfully manoeuvre the intricacies of developers and foreign cultures to ensure they deliver on the brief on time and to budget. Requirements:
BSc. (IT, Engineering) or similar qualification with at least 5 years’ experience
Project management training / qualification
MS Project management or similar
Agile / Kanban / Scrum / methodologies
Software lifecycle
Exposure to building websites
Website information architecture and content presentation
Understanding of Web Services/ API Integration
CMS-based website management
Database understanding and management
Microsoft Office (all programs)
Driver's license with own transport
Understanding of website architecture and content placement

Duties:
Sourcing and evaluating relevant outsourced partners for contracting them for project-specific deliverables
Working with the Studio Manager to schedule tasks for projects using CRM/PM tools
Display strong project management skills utilised to manage resources around the world
Understanding client requirements and developing RFP specifications for external resources
Weekly reporting to Studio Manager on development progress and pipeline
Completion of all projects in terms of time, quality, specifications and budgets
Define project process flows, specifications, gantt charts and communicate these to external resources
Development methodology knowledge (Kanban, Agile, Scrum)
Digital marketing knowledge (SEM, SEO, PPC, websites, marketing automation, email newsletters etc.)
Quotation, purchase order procurement and invoicing
Costing analysis and workforce efficiency measurement
General management of production/operations
Quality checking work with a keen eye for detail
Keep up to date with the latest trends in digital technologies
Passion for digital, learning and teaching
Show a true sense of ownership of projects
