PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To provide technical and sales support in English and French to internal and external clients on all Electronic products.

DUTIES

Responding to all incoming technical support and sales queries in English and French, via all contact mediums (i.e. inbound and outbound calls, Rt-system and e-mail).

Ensure you have an excellent knowledge of all technical products and installation specifications.

Be able to complete basic repairs on all products (both mechanical and electronic).

Assist the Production and R&D Departments in establishing failure trends and suggest possible improvement to products.

Assist when necessary with other ad-hoc duties; i.e. training, updating of technical data, exhibitions, site support, the testing of new products and special site requirements.

Ensuring that all communication/volume received during the shift is dealt with in the required timeframe/manner.

Ensuring that all requests are resolved before ending the communication.

Ensuring that all communication with our clients is of the required/expected quality.

Doing everything to ensure the retention of all clients.

Key Requirements

Matric with at least 1-2 years Call Centre or Technical experience in a similar industry.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and internet applications
Excellent communication skills in English and French
Must be flexible on overtime (should it be required)
Valid drivers’ licence
Able to work 11 hour shift cycle
