My Client, one of the largest manufacturers of mini substations and distribution transformers in South Africa has a vacancy for a suitably qualified Technical Internal Sales Engineer for Jhb Head office

Minimum Requirements:- 

• Matric and Diploma (N6 Electrical) or equivalent qualification
• 3 to 4 years sales experience relating to low voltage switchgear, drives and related products.
• Ability to assist clients telephonically with the selection of appropriate or equivalent switchgear.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Provide technical support to customers, Reps and Zest branches.
• To co-ordinate goods returned and warranties.
• Assist customers with price/availability enquires and check stock.
• To process purchase orders, sales orders, issue delivery notes and ensure that goods are invoiced once P.O.D. has been received.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings. 

Skills Requirements:-

• Computer literacy, Windows, MS Word, & Excel (SYSPRO is an advantage).
• Excellent communication skills on all levels (Face-to-Face, telephonic and written).
• Attention to detail.
• Command of the English language in both reading and writing.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Evaluate new products and train internal and external sales staff
• A keen sense of urgency and willingness to learn additional job related skills.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.
• Team player
