Job Description
Determining of metallurgical and/or analytical (Lab) production statistics.
Maintaining of health, safety and environmental standards in compliant within all other related codes of practices, regulatory requirements and legislations.
Responsible for all metallurgical projects and coordinating of the metallurgical and laboratory teams, equipment and services.
Contributing to the effective functioning of the Plant production teams ration as a member of the Senior Management Team
To provide input to meet the overall company strategic missions and objectives from a Mineral Process perspective.
Developing and implementing of technical and support systems, processes for the Mineral Processing Department to provide excellence with regard to the economic performance of the plant.
To actively participate in Safety, Health and Environment meetings, audits, incident reporting investigations, and peer reviews.
Providing of Metallurgical input into life of the mine plan.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 7 years experience, however 2 years working experience in a Management role.
Experience in the mineral processing industry with proven track record in Production Management and knowledge on differential flotation would be an added bonus.
Ability to utilize the best business applications of management and plant processing.
Ability to evaluate and mitigate risk (risk management)
Ability to understand the business and financial concepts.
Efficient knowledge on SAP system and relevant computer skills
