Main Purpose:
Responsible to ensure the effective coordination of the sales, ordering and delivery functions in his/her area through the application of expert knowledge, planning and control to ensuring the quality of sales to customers. He/she acts as the primary contact between the company and customers and coordinates the administration of the sales agents working under him/her. He/she is responsible for the management of company’s resources under his/her control.

Duties include:
• Identify and record priorities and finalise plans to achieve set goals for the company.
• Ensure effective technical advice.
• Increase the market share and participation in the region
• Ensure that quality sales service according to the required company standard is rendered.
• To ensure effective and continues sales / services
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Promote and develop sound working relations with all departments and provide effective service as required.
• Ensure the company’s good image.
• Develop new products, based upon clients and company needs
• Execution, management and detail reporting on completed trials
• Effective meetings, clear instructions and follow-ups.
• Complete and co-ordinate financial cost control reports for the Sales Department
• Implement and manage of stock control system
• Accurate budgeting and forecasting
• Compile monthly and annual reports for the department.
• Ensure sound / effective communication with management
• Plan, delegate and manage Sales Agents
• Ensure development and training of Sales Agents
• Develop, manage & implementation of incentive systems

Requirements
• Degree in Agriculture; AVCASA or BASOS
• 5 - 10 years marketing
• Experience in the KwaZulu-Natal region in agronomy
• Good communication skills
• Ability to support independent sales agents
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
