TECHNICAL MANAGER (SECURITY)

We require the services of a Technical Manager to join our team in a fast paced and energetic environment.

The main purpose of the position is to ensure that all site specific security requirements are adhered to; and that the client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times. Ensure continuity of operations; promoting and safe guarding the Company’s assets, reputation and brand.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Sound knowledge of RDC radio transmitters
• 5 -10 Years technical experience, with at least 3 years in a technical management position
• Sound knowledge of outdoor beams and equipment
• minimum of 5 years exp working in the technical industry
• Sound Knowledge of programming DSC, IDS and Paradox alarm systems
• PSIRA registered
• 3 Years minimum experience in the installation of Alarms
• Minimum 2 + years experience working with CCTV systems Successful sales management track record of growing revenue
• Strong management experience
• Matric

• Fully PC Literate - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Listner
• Articulate and able to communicate on all levels – face to face, telephonically and e-mail
• Planning & Organisational skills
• Customer care, client liaison and relationship building skills

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Manage day to day Technical department activities
• Scheduling technicians to attend maintenance and new installations
• Daily feedback and communication to customers regarding maintenance and new installations
• Ensuring that new installations are scheduled and conducted timeously and accurately
• Costing of Job Cards
• Quotes on maintenance and new installations
• Providing on-site technical assistance to all technical teams
• Promoting SLA’s with customers
• Visiting customers to conduct QA
• Ensuring that all paperwork, emails, call logging, schedules, new installations are updated daily with feedback to executive management on a weekly basis and as and when required

GENERAL:
• RSA citizen
• Valid unendorsed drivers licence
• Clear criminal record
• Good contactable references
• Flexible working hours – after hours, call out’s, etc.

OFFER:
* We are offering a CTC of R20 000 – R30 000 per month.
* This is negotiable based on current earnings and relative to experience.
