Minimum requirements:

National Diploma or Degree - Engineering or relevant qualification. Extensive experience (5 years) in managing a multi-disciplined department within the automotive industry. Sound knowledge and experience in Health and Safety essential. A working knowledge of TS16949 Quality Management System. Computer literacy. Superior negotiating and people management skills. A comprehensive understanding of the financial aspects of a business. Knowledge and experience in communications with OEM’s. Welding and pressing experience essential. Exhibit a proven ability to motivate subordinates. Fluency in Spanish or German essential (either / or).

Responsibilities:

Ensuring timeous completion of RFQ process. Tracking and management of project / task budget, timeline and quality of delivery. Tracking and management of resource availability and scheduling on assigned projects. Execution of master project schedule. Facilitation of communication and negotiation within the technical team. Communications and interpreting customer requirements on a professional basis and align these requirements with best practice solutions. Controlling the risk management of various projects. Project feasibility studies. Manage pricing agreements.
