Responsible for supporting technical marketing, coordinating and facilitating all product and related training (head office staff, distribution staff, and external stakeholders), general query handling, support to the product team in developing and implementing new product ideas, ad hoc research and competitor comparisons.

• Conduct regular product and related training to internal and external stakeholders
• To design, develop and maintain technical product training material
• General support role to the product team, including email and telephonic support
• Research into competitor products and pricing
• General support to the team in the development and implementation of new products and/or the enhancement of existing products

Qualifications and experience

• Matric
• Tertiary study in the financial planning field and/or CFP would be beneficial
• Specialised group risk product knowledge advantageous
• At least 3 years’ experience in the life insurance industry, either in product sales, marketing or training
• Some opportunities for travel within South Africa
• Driver’s licence is essential
• An optimistic, enthusiastic, energetic outlook
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Aptitude to develop a sound technical product knowledge
