Leading explosives manufacturer is looking for a Technical Officer with automated and electronic assembly plant experience to provide hands on technical support to the manufacturing plants and their customers, during normal processing as well as for product and process development in the Fochville plant

Qualifications:

B.Eng / B.Tech in Electronic engineering

Comp lit

Experience:

Min 3-5 yrs exp in automated manufacturing environment

Exp in electronic assembly plants

Explosives and hands on processing beneficial

Provide technical and process support to plant during manufacturing, process research and optimization projects, product development or process trials, product performance evaluation or customer complaint investigations

Training and supervision of operational staff

Internal customer, technical and product support

Drive continuous improvement strategies for plant optimization

Become proficient in concepts like Six Sigma, coordinating Six Sigma improvement projects within manufacturing environment

Willing to work abnormal hours and willing to travel to external clients and various plants

Skills:

Perform effectively under pressure

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Ability to investigate, evaluate, recommend and implement corrective action

Communicate and interact with processing staff, process leaders and internal customers

Ability to learn independently and apply theoretical knowledge in hands on capacity to solve processing constraints or to achieve process optimization goals

Ability to train non – technical staff on technical process aspects

Ability to investigate, evaluates, recommend, sell and implement corrective actions

Strong technical problem solving skills
