Description
The Technical Operations Support Analyst is required to perform operations, configuration and maintenance on production systems. The Technical Operations Support Analyst will be responsible for problem tracking, management and reporting as well as internal server maintenance.

Key Responsibility Areas
Core Functions:
Perform operations, configuration and maintenance on production systems
Track, manage and report on incidents
Conduct SQL scripting and DB maintenance
Identify enhancements to improve supportability, operability and performance of systems
Ensure SLAs are met for external and internal clients in terms of mean time to respond and mean time to resolve issues
Maintain the internal servers and perform day-to-day IT admin tasks
Provide after-hours support according to a standby schedule

Previous production system support work

Ability to share knowledge and contribute to a team
IT admin experience
The ability to identify product gaps and liaise with development and architecture teams to outline requirements
Telecommunications Industry experience highly beneficial

Education & Qualification
Microsoft SQL Management Studio
SQL Database Maintenance
Support and Configuration of Java Applications
Application monitoring support
Microsoft Office (Advanced)
Knowledge of MS SQL utilities e.g. Scheduled Jobs, Store Procedures, Indexing etc
Knowledge of Windows operating systems

Required certifications :
Microsoft SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
Candidates must have an advanced level of competency for the above.
