Technical QA Analyst

Global Software product Company based in Stellenbosch has a requirement for a Technical QA Analyst.
Team up with QA Automation Engineer to design and execute automated tests.

Qualifications:
IT Diploma OR IT related qualification
ISEB Foundation Certification in Software Testing

Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality assurance and testing analysis
Experience testing product functionality with SOAP and REST API’s
Have worked with test automation frameworks
Comfortable working with Linux OS and a scripting language such as JavaScript, , Python or PHP

Job Objectives:
? Partner with the QA Automation Engineer to design and execute automated tests
? Assist building quality into the products via appropriate technical, process and product expertise
? Involved from the requirements and planning phase in an Agile development environment
? Leverage industry leading tools such as SoapUI Pro, Jira & Zephyr
? Become quality and customer advocates (verification vs validation)
? Stay abreast and recommend improvements to test systems and quality assurance tools
? Collaborate with Development to ensure an integrated and effective quality process throughout the SDLC
