RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established MACHINE MOVING & RIGGING COMPANY,
to recruit a TECHNICAL SALES CONSULTANT to be based in JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG.

Applicants should have/be the following:
• Matric certificate with a tertiary level technical qualification, (N6 or similar).
• Experience in the construction, engineering or logistics industries – an advantage.
• Good knowledge of selling into Gauteng manufacturing and industrial sectors.
• Well networked in the industry.
• Ability to raise enquiries quickly.
• Able to calculate specific loads – estimated weight & size of loads – an advantage.
• Experience in rigging, understanding of the concept of leverage – an advantage
• Excellent administrative skills – able to quote and chase up on jobs
• Customer service oriented, able to build good customer relationships
• Computer literate – MS Office package with good Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Analytical thinking skills, Logical brain, versatile, adaptable
• Ability to come across and exude confidence to prospective clients and gain their trust
Responsibilities:
• Pro-actively seek business opportunities for our client.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with clients.
• Secure new work opportunities for our client that utilises their specific services.
• Maintain regular contact with clients regarding work done and potential future work.
• Distribute newsletters and marketing material that will positively promote the company.
• Attend site visits to appreciate to the Scope of Work.
• Take accurate measurements of site layout and machinery dimensions and weights.
• Produce a cost effective and technically viable proposal to the client.
• Submit a professionally presented quote in the correct format.
• Maintain excellent relationship with client until contract completed and thereafter.
• Propose advertising and marketing initiatives to Directors
• Attend functions, meetings and events that enable personal contact with potential clients.
• Monitor newspapers and internet for potential leads and inform Directors.
• Safety Management - Ensure the highest standard of safety is achieved and maintained at all times.

Remuneration:
R30 to 40k ctc + medical aid, company provident fund with life and funeral cover.
Commission structure. Company vehicle.
