Our client, a leading reselling Software Company based in Pretoria requires a self motivated and well communicated individual to occupy the role of a Technical Sales Engineer. The incumbent will be required to achieve maximum profitability, growth, account penetration and leverage off relationships to expand the business within existing customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
New Customers
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and information to determine their potential
- Secure initial meeting to introduce P1 solutions
- Participates in trade shows, seminars, and conventions.
Existing Customers
- Become a trusted advisor, aligning their goals and objectives with our solutions
- Always be up to date with customer strategy, goals and objectives
- Ensure existing customers renew their annual support agreements as they become due
- Develop own and manage the strategic account plan for ach enterprise customer
New and Existing Customers
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with prospective enterprise customers to generate new business
- Develop and present proposals to address identified problems and solutions thereof
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
- Conduct presentations to various decision making audiences
- Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Identify advantages and compares organization's products/services to competitive products.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline goals
Admin / Routine/Sales Hygiene
- Provide sales reports on a weekly, monthly basis or as agreed
- Update and maintain prospect database and opportunity funnel on a daily basis, assuring management of prospect database.
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return-on-Investment for the assigned enterprise accounts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Qualification related to IT or Engineering
- 5 years experience
- Experience in Value Driven Sales
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle
- Strong communication skills
