As the External Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for supporting and growing market share within the responsible industries in your territory.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Technical Qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation
• Experience and Exposure in the Automotive, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Print and Packaging, Machine Building Industries, Project Houses and System Integrators
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, Pastel Evolution, CRM
• Exceptional Presentation Skills and Interpersonal Skills
• Sales and Project Management Experience
• Knowledgeable in technology
• Finance (P&L, Pricing, Sales Forecasting, Budgeting and Margin)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify the key markets and market players in the specified industries
• Identify customer requirements and specify the appropriate products and solutions
• Support the appropriate Distributors
• Identify and Develop new potential Distributors
• Coordinate cross-divisional technical application and product specifications in conjunction with the relevant Product Managers
• Provide technical product training with regard to industry specific requirements
• Continuous monitoring of competitor activities
• Continuous self-development with regard to product knowledge
• Develop the system Integrator network
• Promote all Three Business Units (Factory Automation, Process Automation and Logistics Automation)
• Reports to the National Sales Manager – Southern Africa
