Technical Sales Executive / Application Engineer – (Cape Town)

1. JOB PURPOSE
Sales and support of Coils within the heat exchangers and refrigeration systems solutions to various industries.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and service existing and potential customers.
• Assist in developing and executing the regional sales growth strategy in line with company strategic objectives.
• Provide Technical solutions/quotations and proposals to customers.
• Liaise with consulting engineers and develop/submit tenders/proposals as required.
• Liaise with refrigeration contractors and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Perform coil and/or system selection, application & optimization in line with customer requirements.
• Liaise with customers regarding requirements, applications and solutions.
• Manage and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Project manage “bespoke” special sales orders.
• Provide customer and on-site support as required.
• Identify and drive new product requirements.
• Drive technical sales support documentation.
• Liaise within the group export division to grow export potential.
• Drive business development opportunities.

Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in engineering or Sales qualification with strong technical background.
• Strong sales and marketing orientation.
• A driven individual wanting to exceed sales and customer expectations.
• Experience in design and application of coil heat exchangers/refrigeration systems(or similar technical industry).
• Assertive, proactive and the desire to add value in a progressive organization.
• Project management skills.
