Technical Sales/ NB Development (Compressors) Sales Rep – Cape Town

We have a permanent position available for an experienced Industrial Compressor Sales Representative. Applicants must have Compressor Sales experience as well as a minimum of 2 years sales experience.

Required Skills

Technical Equipment Sales : 2-3 years

Candidate Requirements
Std 10 (Grade 12) plus a Technical Qualification. (Degree or Diploma) advantageous not essential
A minimum of 2 years Compressor Sales experience.
Valid drivers license.
Own reliable transport.
Proven track record.
Sober habits

The successful candidate will have:

1. a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the Sales environment.
2. Have all essential elements of an effective salesperson (external)
3. Product knowledge would be an advantage (Compressors)
4. Able to achieve or exceed all sales objectives and targets agreed – Candidates to give an overview on their sales experience and targets
5. Building and maintaining an active customer base - Candidate to confirm the type of customer base they dealt with, i.e. currently, or in their previous job/s
6. Must have a high standard of numeracy
7. Good command of the English language both spoken and written
8. Passion for success, inspired behaviour & self motivated
9. Must have computer skills,
10. Ability to work independently and under pressure
11. Understanding of the process and the importance of Sales
12. Good understanding of customer and market dynamics.
