RS Recruitment Services is assisting a Steel Fabrication Company, based in Westmead, Durban
to source a TECHNICAL/STEEL FABRICATION SALES REPRESENTATIVE.

Applicants should be/have the following:
Matric Certificate
Qualification in sales and marketing - an advantage
Drafting experience and/or ability to accurately measure clients’ requirements on site – an advantage
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical/Industrial Engineering sales and marketing environment.
Sales experience in Steel Fabricated products (domestic & industrial) such as Steel gates, steel fencing,
burglar guards, stairways, walkway structures, balustrades etc. – an advantage
Proven sales track record & a Hunter” sales profile, i.e. the ability to seek out and win new business
Computer Literacy - MS Office (Word & Excel), email etiquette and Numeracy skills
Valid Unendorsed Driver’s License
Must have own reliable vehicle
Strong communication and marketing skills
Able to present a compelling sales proposition
This is an Employment Equity (EE) position

Key Performance Areas/Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop the customer / client base
Generating new business (including ‘cold calling’) and maintaining existing customer accounts
Find innovative and creative ways to build the customer base
Meet clients on site and do required accurate measurements required for fabrication
Attend to any queries and complaints from customers
Ensuring Customer Satisfaction
Quoting on a wide variety of Steel fabricated products
Meeting Sales Targets

Remuneration:
R8 500 basic, R3 500 fuel allowance & R1 000 cell phone allowance.
Plus, excellent commission scheme
Includes company pension.
