Technical Sales Rep - Food Processing Equipment
Experience
Academic Grade 12
At least 3-5 years in a meat processing/sales environment
Technical knowledge will be an advantage
Factory layouts & drawings on Visio
Main Responsibilities:
To sell industrial food processing equipment to the relevant industry.
To develop and manage an effective sales territory - both nationally and within Sub-Saharan Africa, Successful implementation of operational plans set by Business Manager and Management by achieving the objectives for the various products sales targets in the identified market segments.
Determine most accurate total buying potential for each customer in his/her territory and capture this information against the client’s name on the Calling Cycle.
Responsible for the strategic development and management of equipment end users and OEM sales and service in line with the Company’s market sector strategic growth objectives along with developing long and medium term business plans.
Develop, maintain and exploit knowledge of Customers in terms of current and future strategies, developments and trends; in-depth knowledge of the markets and industries in which such Customers operate and which they service and the industry structures, economics, processes, equipment and investment strategies.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
Carry out market research on competitors. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development

Filling, Portioning, Dosing
Cooking and Smoking
