Previous experience in Hardware stores / Paving companies, Construction materials or similar essential

Must be ambitious, presentable, energetic and self-motivated. Must show ability to prioritise and plan activities, be influential and show good negotiation skills. Good interpersonal skills and be a good listener. Canvass new customers and still maintain the relationships of the existing customer database.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers through regular review visits and sales calls.
• Identify and visit new customers to introduce products and gain new customers.
• Gathering of market and customer information and communicating this to management.
• Keeping customer database up to date.
• Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
• Checking of the quantity of goods in stock.
• Checking on customer displays.
• Recording sales and order forms.
• Recording visits to customers on Pastel Evolution Incidents.
• Gaining a clear understanding of customer’s businesses and requirements.
• Proactively develop opportunities for all our products.
• Consistently meet targets and exceed targets set.
