A manufacturing company is looking to add a vibrant, target driven, self-motivated professional as a Sales Rep to their Durban office. You will report to the regional manager.

This is a HUNTER sales position. You will be responsible for business development and finding new clients.

Requirements:

• Matric with Mathematics
• Sales (Hunter) experience
• 3 years’ experience in paint and surface coating industry
• Technical or mechanical problem solving aptitude
• MS Office proficient
• Drivers license

Responsibilities:

• Sales and lead generation of existing and prospective clients
• Customer account management and monitoring and follow up when necessary
• Submit monthly expense reports and prepare reports on business transaction
• Customer liaison and visits
• Plan and deliver and promote product demonstrations, training and open days as per customer requests
• Develop product proposals as per customer requests
• Handle customer queries and problems and escalate where necessary
• Follow up and check dispatch orders
• Follow up on quotes and proposals to customers within 2 hours
• Follow up and collecting outstanding monies from customers and opening of cash accounts
• Follow up and provide feedback to customers regarding products that have gone for repairs to workshop
• Compile and submit travel log timeously
• Forecast customer plans to ensure adequate stock
• Follow up on customer back orders
• Record weekly progress on activity logs, call sheets and on monthly key performance indicator
• Research and report on competitive products
• Work with other sales reps and employees to coordinate account activity that affect other regions and areas
