Technical Sales Representative - Durban - R25’000 CTC + comm + comp car

Servipro Staffing Solutions is assisting our Client, Southern Africa’s fastest growing electrical wholesaler to employ a Top Notch Technical sales Rep

The Company provides a range of internationally recognized and SABS approved products across three main categories – power and instrumentation cable, overhead line equipment and conductors, general low voltage products (including lighting).

We are seeking a technically sound Sales representative with at least 2-3 years experience calling on corporate clients and industry.

You must have good knowledge of Electrical products, excellent contacts and relationships with key players, and lots of tenacity.

You will be required to look after an existing set of customers, in addition to bringing new clients into the business. There is lots of growth potential for the right candidate.

Currently seeking a Technical sales Rep for KZN head office in Durban

+-R25’000 CTC & includes Company vehicle (Ford Figo or VW), includes provident, cash component and cellphone allowance, fuel will be given over above.
Commission between R2000 – R25000, starts from day 1
Budget is generally 8 x your package
Medical aid is optional and will be charged as an extra
No laptop is issued
CRM system offered
Working hours: Mon-Fri; 07h00-16h30 or 07h30-17h00 (retail hours)
Rep will need to bring on board their own customer base and understand technical specs of the products

KPA's include:

Calling on customers and providing external support to the existing database
Cold calling and generating new revenue for the business
Identify and categorize the type of contractor or plant i.e. small, medium or large, determine where the majority of spending will be generated from i.e. cable, overhead line or low voltage
Min Requirements

3-5 year experience in Electrical Sales/Marketing environment.
(Industry Diploma in Sales/Marketing
Valid Grade 12 / Matric Senior Certificate
