Our client a leading plant hire company seeks to appoint a Technical Sales Representative with previous experience in a technical sales environment. The ideal candidate will have previous exposure to the construction, plant hire and mining industry in the North West Region.

Skills Required:

· Matric

· A minimum 4 years technical sales experience.

Must reside in the Rustenburg area.

Previous exposure to the construction, plant hire, crane and mining industry will be advantageous.

Strong negotiation skills.

Must be new business driven.

Ability to work independently.

The ability to develop strategic client relationships with Key Accounts

Ability to communicate effectively in a commercial environment.

Ability to prioritize work tasks and delegate appropriately.

Strong computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities:

The ongoing servicing and development of relationships with Key players in the engineering industry.

Develop new business opportunities and ensure that existing clients are up to date with new products and information.

To provide clients with quotations and technical assistance.

Active customer relations and claims management.

To ensure that the correct and most efficient equipment is applied.

Supports the customer with technical know-how.

Determine a project sales strategy: Project strategy, Cost planning, Pricing of tender and Negotiating terms and conditions of contract.

Take responsibility for the project and support project controlling.

After Sales Service.

Makes sure there is flow of information to the customer and to internal positions (engineering, operations, customer credit management)
