What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Elevator sector. All duties would take place in this context.

Call-out Management
* Prioritise callouts (Critical, Severe, Standard)
* Use system to track technician activity
* Manage team resources

SLA Management
* Ensure SLAs met
* SLA tracking
* Manage out of SLA situations

Quality Management and optimisation
* Check work methods
* Manage preventative maintenance schedules

Safety
* Ensure Safe Working practices
* Comply with OHS Act

Diagnostics assistance
* Assist technical team with faults (If needed)
* Setup technical buddy system to help with complex faults

Customer Liaison
* Keep customer informed about call progress
* Deal with irate customers - professionally

Financial Management
* Ensure revenue targets are met
* Ensure profitability targets are met

Leading Staff
* Manage team of 12 staff
* Motivate staff to perform
* Develop and grow staff

Key Job Deliverables:

* Meet P&L and revenue targets
* Ensure customer satisfaction
* Ensure customer SLAs met

Background work experience:

* 5+ years as a technical field service technician
* 5+ years as a field service or technical services manager
* Technical Qualification e.g. National Diploma, or BTech/BSc
* Adv: Management Qualification
* Expert in managing technical field services teams
* Expert in fault finding and diagnostics
* Expert in SLA management
* Expert in preventative maintenance strategies
* Calm under pressure
