Technical Services Supervisor – Manufacturing Plant Parow Cape Town

Our client is looking to appoint an effective Technical Services Supervisor second in charge of the technical department with relevant technical and supervisory skills to assist with machinery and equipment maintenance.

Salary Market Related + Overtime, Call out Allowances and Medical Aid

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric
• Relevant Technical Qualification NTC 4 electrical / mechancal
• Recognise trade certificate
• Festo Pneumatics, Electrical fault finding
• Own transport essential
• Experience with filling and packaging machinery (tube fillers, Bottles, labellers, carton’s)
• 5 years in a similar role
Key Performance Areas:

Maintenance:
• Maintain production equipment and conduct change overs as per planned schedule
• Co-ordinate regular servicing of equipment with the aid of stats
• Order and maintain stock of critical spares per machine
• Arrange repair of broken equipment with preferred suppliers
• Assist subordinates with repair and fine settings of equipment
• Compile monthly reports including trend analysis
• Assist Technical Manager with daily running of department

People management:
• Performance management of 5 Technical Staff, adherence to disciplinary procedures, training needs identification
