POSITION TITLE :TECHNICAL SITE MANAGER
LOCATION : MOZAMBIQUE
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE AND GENERAL ROLE EXPECTATIONS
The primary purpose of the role is to be responsible for the care and maintenance of all assets of Organization in Mozambique. This will primarily involve the following
1. Planning and Execution of all day to day of maintenance activities
2. Supervision of technical personnel to meet equipment reliability targets set by the business
3. Training and Upskilling of technicians and artisans
The position will report to the Country Manager
LOCATION
Mozambique: Inhambane with regular travel to Nampula
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Qualification
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 10 years’ hands on engineering experience in an automated factory
• Experience in supervision of technical staff
• Experience in Asset Care and Maintenance Management
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Execution of the Maintenance plans and strategy of the Organization to meet key performance indicators
• Control and administration of spares and maintenance resources
• Supervision, Training and Upskilling of technicians and artisans
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methods
• Reactive and Preventative maintenance balancing
• Mechanical and hygienic engineering knowledge
• Management of contractors
• Management of factory utilities
• Working knowledge of PLCs and Frequency Drives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Problem solving
• Crisis management
• Negotiation
• Excellent inter-personal skills
