National Company is looking for a Technical Solutions Specialist to provide design, configuration and escalated problem management in client environments of medium complexity.

The PS Technical Solutions Specialist establishes a track record of exceptional performance with regards to a combination of technical, service and/or business ability. You will be required to work towards expert level certification, whilst at the same time developing business knowledge.

Minimum Requirements:
Relevant tertiary certification
4-5 years’ experience in a similar role
Skype for Business, Direct Access, ADFS, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Server 2012, Microsoft PKI and Office 365 knowledge and certifications – essential
Good English language skills
Own vehicle and driver’s licence essential

Duties:
Translate medium- complex business requirements into functional requirements and through technical expertise translate the requirements into technical solutions.
Engage early in the client planning and solution definition phase of projects and define the standards of work (SoW) with the related roles and responsibilities of the team to be utilised. In addition, you must demonstrate strong business ability, whilst maintaining a mix of both business and expert technical discipline.
Act as a trusted advisor to the client through demonstrating an understanding of the client’s requirements and expertise in the relevant technologies.
Ensure project implementation
Required to contribute your expertise towards a proposed technical solution and work with internal colleagues to define the roadmap and milestones.
Demonstrate the ability to assist in providing an overall high-level design of technical or service solutions for complex business situations.
Play an active role in enhancing current solution concepts or creating new ones.
Play the role of a key project team member charged with the analysis of user and technical requirements, specifications development, solution design and development, and in some environments may consult on testing and deployment processes.
Demonstrate project management ability and apply and maintain these abilities to work on particular technical projects that assist the client in fulfilling their information technology needs.
Required to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Provide problem management
Expected to provide problem management assistance at escalated levels and act as user support and assist with trouble shooting.
Ensure that the mentorship of engineers and consultants is provided to encourage their professional growth. This may include developing technical training materials and conducting training programs and educating engineers on basic technical details.
Proactively provide experience in practically improving The Company’s systems, services and operational processes.
Engage clients and identify opportunities at a high level.
Display strong client service orientation and strive for client engagement.
Assist the Account Management Team with the evaluation and activation of new accounts.
Contribute expertise around the design and configuration requirements in relation to complex RFP / RFI and proposals.
Deliver technical solutions to clients and take responsibility for the standards of work, project sign off and client satisfaction.

Salary is highly negotiable.

20 month fixed term contract
