Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to take up the role of a Technical Specialist.

The mission of this role is to produce working templates; tool boxes and best practices approaches and standards for the members.

ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce technical working templates and produce toolboxes for specialist working areas in order to provide members with best practice approaches and standards
• Assist the Client’s Centre for Professional development with content and speakers for CPD Sessions
• Develop Competency Committee action plans annually, and manage Competency Committee outcome delivery
• Manage templates created for toolboxes
• Collate a database of articles for use in the financial planner magazine, web resource center and consumer publications
• Identify areas of concern / industry areas that require attention in the form of official Client’s commentary
• Manage, drive and contribute to subdivisions of specific Competency Committee group sub-committees that may be formed from time to time
• Research, write, manage, oversee and compile written submissions
• Maintain existing and establish new relationships with industry bodies in areas of specialisation
• Provide administrative assistance and technical input where needed
• Ensure updates of the website on a regular basis with information for members
• Generate, maintain and record action lists
• Conduct member surveys bi-annually
• Aggregate and compile member surveys results and provide analysis
• Manage the editorial committee

Qualification:
• Qualification (Degree / Diploma) in Financial Planning

Experience:
• Minimum of at least 3 years prior experience within the Financial Services Industry, in a technical or similar role
• Sound understanding / knowledge of the Financial Services Industry

Skill:
• Computer literate (MS Word / Outlook / Excel / PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure
