TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER
Port Elizabeth
Requirements:
Qualified Engineer (BEng Mechatronics)
Familiar with Electrical and Mechanical Schematics and systems
Project management experience
Functional and technical skills
Customer service driven
Problem solving and decision making skills
Able to work under pressure
Responsibilities:
Working on all types of drilling rigs installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing the Company’s products in a wide variety of locations
Liaising with Customers, Colleagues and other Company facilities
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Reporting and updating of relevant documentation; e.g daily reports, survey reports, parts lists and service logs
Recommending improvements to products and systems where appropriate
Travelling internationally at short notice on a regular basis
Performing any other duties as reasonably required by Management, including relief cover for other members of staff (not just locally) and attending meetings at various Company and/or Customer facilities where required
Participating in and providing training on Company equipment as required
