PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Technical preparation of Point of Sale terminals
Keeping asset register up to date
Dispatch of Point of Sale terminals to Paybay customers (merchants)
Telephonic support to merchants
Technical support to organization and customers

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION
Load base software on terminals
Key injection on terminal
Load application update
Test terminal for full functionality
Prepare terminals for Nedbank (Bytes)
Have keys loaded at ivery (Nedbank)
Offer technical support to TPS developers

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTION
Confirm serial numbers and total of terminals received
Scan serial numbers into asset register
Load terminal details into LMP
Insert sim cards in terminals
Capture sim card details (serial number & PUK)
Store terminal in designated area for future dispatch
Prepare terminal for dispatch
Create waybill for dispatch according to dispatch procedure
Accurately dispatch terminal to correct merchant
Update dispatch spreadsheet
Send daily dispatch list to finance
Follow up on non- deliveries
Offer telephonic support to customers when needed in a polite and professional manner
Offer technical assistance to helpdesk in a polite and professional manner
General tidiness on technical center
Any additional duties as and when required.
