My client is a leading software development house focussed on developing solutions that is industry niche specific

• Contribute to projects by mapping data from client data sources.
• Occasionally develop front-end and middleware applications for Web and/or Desktop platforms using the C# language, targeting the Microsoft windows environment.
• Exercise version control discipline for software releases and maintain all source code.
• Follow best formal software engineering practices.
• Assist with software releases to clients.
• Maintain the product after release.
• Assist with client issues / questions by trouble shooting issues & providing solutions.
• Occasional travel to clients (only Cape Town and JHB currently).
• Occasionally sit on-site (Cape Town and JHB) with a client to do Technical Analysis, Development, Testing or assist with go-lives.
• Occasionally gather requirements / demonstrate your work to US / Canadian clients in a different timezone, via video conferencing. (We mostly try and do this between 14:00 – 18:00).
• You will be working with North American clients in a different time zone & you need to be flexible around time, as you will sometimes have to work flexi hours
