he purpose of this position involves keeping all technical systems information up to date and to be the companies representative to liaise with IP System Programmers (Digiworks and Website). This person will also be the contact person for distributors and customers to obtain technical information

Essential requirements :

Relevant tertiary education of a minimum of a 3 year diploma or degree in Food Technology or Food Science or Food & Consumer Science
Computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Outlook
English (writing, reading and speaking)
Meticulous and neat, show pride in their work and be thorough and accurate in every task they undertake
Able to work under pressure with attention to detail
Can work in a team or individually and adhere to strict deadlines
Willing to work in a Quality control environment in production facility
Must be familiar with HACCP preferably FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000 Food safety standards, including the managing of allergens
Two years or more experience in compiling product specifications
Experience in laboratory testing procedures would be advantageous
Be willing to eat pork containing products and all types of animal meats and organs and spicy food products containing chillies, when required
Own transport with a valid drivers license
Have experience in conforming to the R146 and R 1091 food labeling regulations and the completion of Guideline No.6 Product Information ingredient/additives traceability forms at a food company
Production experience and good understanding of product flow
