We are looking for a high performance telesales and customer professional to join the team. You will contribute to developing our growing customer base and be required to enhance our customer experience by upholding the company values whilst confidently and sincerely leading the customer on a "wow" journey through the sales funnel.

Job Purpose
Serve customers by selling the company products & meeting customer needs.

Your Duties:
1. Cold sales calls from databases and/or lists found or referrals and setting up appointments
2. Sales calls from warm leads from various marketing channels and activities
3. Converting merchants within the sales funnel
4. Post-sale call and email follow ups
5. Promotional or new product upsell/cross sell/service calls
6. Research new sales leads
7. Ensure all set company standards and targets achieved
8. Complete daily, weekly, monthly reporting and feedback loops as required
9. Provide proactive feedback regarding suggested changes or improvements to scripting, sales or service procedures that could
10. Improve the business.
11. Sign-up merchants and assist them with FICA documentation required
12. Cold canvasing in line with monthly goals and target customer audience
13. Facilitate warmed leads with sign up process and documentation
14. Uphold company standards and values at all times when representing the brand
15. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analysis
16. Monitor competition in the marketplace and share any relevant insights
17. Take full ownership and accountability for resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, offering solutions and making
18. Recommendations to management
19. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing self and shared learning
20. Monitor and evaluate success and failure of conversion rates from the previous week and identify solutions to failed conversions

The Job Requirements:
• Proven track record delivering on sales targets and successfully dealing with customer relationships
• High sales focus and customer orientation
• Minimum 3 years telesales, sales or customer service related experience
• Excellent selling skills
• Effective networking skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be fluent in English and preferably one other South African language
• Experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers and any other knowledge of Zoho is advantageous
• Intermediate knowledge using outlook, word, excel, powerpoint
• Intermediate knowledge of internet usage
• FICA training/experience advantageous
• High integrity

The Package:
R5500 basic
R75 commission per successfully activated merchant
Attractive bonus commission structure once certain targets are met
