DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Customer service, phoning new customers, calling existing customers and educating customers on what and when to buy
• Calling dormant customers in order to revive these accounts
• Informing customers regarding specials and new products
• Promoting and selling ‘seasonal’ stock
• Promoting IT and Furniture
• Keeping a call cycle, doing quotations, processing orders, handling queries, maintaining customer cards and filing quotations
• Achieving GP budget and turnover budget
• Checking and keeping record of number of credit notes passed
• Recording Margins / Mark-ups
PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have Matric or equivalent NQF level 2 qualification
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent telephone disposition and manner
• Able to handle difficult customers, with patience and understanding
• Computer Literate (MS Office, Axapta advantageous)
• Able to quickly acquire knowledge and skills in our products, price list and substitute stock
