A dynamic company that has spent the last few years developing leading technology for their financial services brand, which will transform the mobile payments landscape are looking for 2 x Telesales/Customer Relations Agents. You will contribute to developing their growing customer base and be required to enhance the customer experience by upholding the values whilst confidently and sincerely leading the customer on a "wow" journey through the brand sales funnel.

THE JOB DUTIES
• cold sales calls from databases and/or lists found or referrals and setting up appointments;
• sales calls from warm leads from various marketing channels and activities;
• converting merchants within the sales funnel;
• post-sale call and email follow ups;
• promotional or new product upsell/cross sell/service calls;
• research new sales leads;
• ensure all set company standards and targets achieved;
• complete daily, weekly, monthly reporting and feedback loops as required;
• provide proactive feedback regarding suggested changes or improvements to scripting, sales or service procedures that could improve the business;
• sign-up merchants and assist them with FICA documentation required;
• cold canvasing in line with monthly goals and target customer audience;
• facilitate warmed leads with sign up process and documentation;
• uphold company standards and values at all times when representing the brand;
• keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analysis;
• monitor competition in the marketplace and share any relevant insights;
• take full ownership and accountability for resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, offering solutions and making recommendations to management;
• maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing self and shared learning;
• monitor and evaluate success and failure of conversion rates from the previous week and identify solutions to failed conversions

THE JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. proven track record delivering on sales targets and successfully dealing with customer relationships;
2. high sales focus and customer orientation;
3. minimum 3 years tele sales, sales or customer service related experience;
4. excellent selling skills;
5. effective networking skills;
6. excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
7. must be fluent in English and preferably one other South African language;
8. experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers and any other knowledge of Zoho is advantageous;
9. intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
10. intermediate knowledge of internet usage;
11. FICA training/experience advantageous;
