• Grade 12 Certificate
• Relevant Accounting Qualification will be an advantage
• At least three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Computer literacy and the ability to apply accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of computerised accounting software and systems (SAGE X3 would be preferable)
• Accounts Payable for South Africa and Foreign
• Matching of invoices to purchase orders, quotes and Goods Received Vouchers
• Processing of creditor invoices onto the accounting system accurately
• Timely and accurate reconciling of creditor statements
• Capture invoices on system for payment
• Filing of own paper, daily, weekly and monthly
• Attend to all creditors queries
• Generate monthly payments requests
• Reconciliation of creditors accounts
• General administrative duties
• Knowledge and understanding of the General Ledger and Creditors account
• Timely and accurate reporting of Inter-company accounts, projected payments and accruals
• Ensure that accounts payable processing and reconciling of statements are done by set dates
• Manage settlement discounts from Suppliers
