A Wine farm in the Franschhoek area seeks to employ a Temporary Creditors Clerk for a group of companies on a 6 month contract. They are looking for an honest, hardworking and reliable candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned position.

Requirements:

Fluent in both English and Afrikaans

Computer literate ( specifically MS Word & Excel, Navision will be an advantage)

Must have own transport

Good communication skills

Must be willing to work in a team

Good numeracy skills

Tertiary  qualification in Finance  will be beneficial

2 years’ experience

Duties include:

Invoice processing

Issuing order numbers to various departments

Opening new suppliers on the system , completing credit applications

Assist  with reconciliations for each supplier

Ensure that invoices are processed within the correct time line / deadline

Dealing with payment queries  from suppliers , follow up on outstanding documentation for month end / deadline purposes

Ensure that departments adhere to the purchase procedure

Salary: R12 000 – R14 000

Start date: Immediately / March 2018

Duration: 6 months (could lead to a possible permanent appointment)
