PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Organizing and controlling the accounting and internal control functions ensuring that all legal/statutory/taxation requirements , company policies/procedures , and generally accepted accounting principles are complied with and that assests are safeguarded within an effective internal audit program.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(Key Performance Areas)
1. Manage the production of the annual financial statements.
2. Manage the production of monthly financial statements.(Balance Sheet , Cash Flows etc. and monthly reporting package.)
3. Supervision and control of staff.
4. Continuous review of information flow.
5. Review of reconciliations monthly.
6. Supervision of daily and weekly Cash Management reports and projections.
7. Preparation of the annual taxation calculation and return and submission of provisional tax payments under the signature of Public Officer.
8. Devising and implementation of suitable internal audit procedures and controls to ensure adequate internal control is maintained.
9. Ad hoc exercises for the chairman and Financial Director/Manager as required.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
B.Com Degree with articles.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Five years experience in a similar position, with ability to manage subordinates and relate to management and staff at all levels.
2. Hands on PC experience. (excel and SAP)
