My client, a leading manufacturing company based on the East Rand, is currently seeking the expertise of a Tendering Engineer.

Minimum requirements:
Matric
Engineering Degree (will be an advantage)
Minimum of 3 years Sales and Marketing experience within a PUMPS environment
Experience must include handling complex tenders

Responsibilities:
Clarification and alignment of technical solutions with specific departments
Overall responsibility to ensure that initiated projects meet company requirements in terms of selection, pricing, terms & conditions and lead times
Overall responsibility to ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines
Overall responsibility to ensure that the Order Entry Documentation is completed in accordance with handover guidelines and procedures and company KPI's
Ensure that handover meetings with projects are effective and result in a smooth transition from pre to post order status
Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role
